Race to the Eastside

Foodie 4 Mile
Northeast Farmers Market held a fun run on June 1 to celebrate their 14th year of operation. The Foodie 4 Mile started at B.F Nelson Park and wended its way through lower Northeast, Boom Island and the Stone Arch Bridge. This race benefited The Northeast Farmers Market and the Emergency Foodshelf Network. The Northeast Farmers Market, which was established in 1999, is open rain or shine 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday from June 1 to October 19 in the parking lot of St. Boniface Church, University Ave NE & 7th Ave NE, featuring locally grown food, unique gifts and unusual services. 4th Annual Red, White & Boom!
Twin Cities in Motion’s 4th annual Red, White & Boom! Half Marathon will once again return to Northeast Minneapolis on Thursday, July 4. Over 2,500 runners will take to the streets of Northeast, beginning at St Antony Main, proceeding along the Mississippi to St. Anthony Parkway, then east through Deming Hill park and back down to the Stone Arch Bridge and Father Hennepin Park.
